| Who we are |
| In
conjunction with the Arnprior Public Library Board, the
Friends support and promote the services of the
library. Our group will strive to improve
community awareness, understanding and enjoyment of
library services in the area. |
| We nurture an
appreciation of literature and culture in our community.
This is accomplished by means of events such as author
readings, artist showings, historical lectures, mystery
nights and so forth. We work from a position of
advocacy on the behalf of the Library
and its staff. |

| Membership |
The group currently
has four members. We welcome members from Arnprior,
McNab/Braeside, White Lake and the immediate area. Meetings
are held approximately every 6 weeks unless planning an
event. We also would like
to hear from anyone who wishes to join our list of volunteers.
We can benefit from your specific interests and skills and
will give you a choice of projects to work on. |
